Unique Blends was inspired by our daughter Richa, a young adult with intellectual and visual disabilities, and our journey to find meaningful opportunities for her to grow and thrive. Through programs with the Pleasanton Unified School District, City of Dublin and Redwood Seeds at UC Davis, we realized how the right environment can empower individuals with disabilities to build confidence, skills, and independence. Yet, most adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities remain unemployed or under-engaged.

Unique Blends is our way of changing that.

We are creating an inclusive cafe in the Tri-Valley that provides meaningful employment, skill-building, and a sense of belonging—while serving great coffee. Beyond the cafe, we aim to build a community where individuals can connect, socialize, and feel valued.

More than coffee—it’s purpose, inclusion, and opportunity in every cup.
